Benefits of Business Fine Tuning

Even successful businesses can benefit from examining and fine tuning the business’ approach as well as SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) of daily operations.  Sometimes a successful business can explode when a few commonsense steps are taken to organize that approach.  Just for fun, we put together a few tweaks to give your business as the year winds down.  It’s a quick read for busy business owners.  When you are ready for a full analysis, contact us or call (747) 224-8110 to start your free conversation.  It could put your business in a much better position for 2021.

Create Your Business’ Value Add On.

What do you offer consumers and clients, that has worthwhile value?  This is worth taking time to evaluate.  Once you are confident you know what problems you solve, what you offer of value to your clientele, you can focus on how to communicate that to new potential clientele.  The problems your business solves are the foundation of business and marketing.

Define Your Niche

The next step in developing marketing funnels leading to your virtual doors, is defining your niche.  Who are you and what do you do?  Some firms try to fill a broad range of consumer needs.  When you define what your firm does, you are making it easier for new customers/clients to find your company.  Even the broad range is fine when consumers know they can find it all in one trip, but if the collection doesn’t make sense, it adds confusion, not convenience.  If you just sell tools for woodworking, and you communicate that niche to an audience, then woodworkers know they can find what they want in your store, but others are not frustrated by your lack of metalworking tools.

Claim and Leverage Your Social Media Platforms

One of the best ways today, to communicate with customers is through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.  Of course, some work better than others for different types of businesses.  Overall regular social media posts keep your business niche and your problem solving proficiency front and center in the minds of consumers.

Lead Your Industry…and Your Team

When you have problems, you go online to find the solution or solutions that best resolve your problems.  Your clients are making similar searches online every day to solve their own problems.  That means, the more you can help solve their problems by sharing information, tips and solutions, the more those customers will tend to return to the well for more water.  You will become an industry leader and your team will look to your for the guidance on how your firm will be perceived by others.

Take Advantage of Google’s Business Tools.

Whether you use Google my Business to get noticed,  or Google reviews to share with new prospects, so they can see how others perceive you.   We need to interject an important qualifier here: Do not ask for a client to review you on Google, do not try to feed false positive reviews into Google.  Google has control and takes the responsibility seriously.  Feeding false feedback into the system can backfire, and it is against compliance rules.  You cannot republish those reviews, but you can let prospects know where to find them.
